How We Support You
Partnership Provision for PRUs
Eton Academy works in partnership with Pupil Referral Units to deliver high-quality online academic provision. We provide access to our comprehensive curriculum, supporting your PRU to serve more students and offer broader subject choices.

Our DfE OEAS-accredited provision can work alongside your pastoral and therapeutic support, creating a complete educational package for vulnerable young people.
Why Partner With Eton Academy?
DfE OEAS Accredited
We're one of only ten providers nationally to achieve DfE OEAS accreditation—meeting rigorous standards for online alternative provision, safeguarding, and outcomes.
Rapid Enrolment
We can enroll students within 48-72 hours, helping you meet 6th day obligations and respond to urgent placement needs.
Full Key Stage Coverage
We provide provision from KS2 through KS4, including GCSE pathways. Few online AP providers cover primary—we do.
Safeguarding Partnership
Our Principal serves as Designated Safeguarding Lead and maintains close liaison with your DSL, attending reviews and coordinating around safeguarding plans.
Live, Interactive Teaching
Every lesson is taught live by qualified UK teachers—never pre-recorded. Students engage in real-time, build relationships with teachers, and receive immediate feedback.
Flexible Partnership Models
Whether you need full-time academic provision, part-time support, subject-specific teaching, or overflow capacity during peak periods, we work with you to design the right model.
Specialist Alternative Provision Expertise
Our teachers are trained in trauma-informed practice, SEND support, and working with students who have experienced exclusion, anxiety, and complex needs. This isn't mainstream teaching delivered online—it's specialist AP practice.
What We Offer PRUs
Flexible Partnership Options
Every PRU operates differently. We tailor our approach to fit your context:

Full-Time Academic Provision
We deliver the complete academic curriculum while your team focuses on pastoral care, behavior support, and therapeutic interventions.
Part-Time Blended Model
Students attend your PRU for pastoral days and access academic curriculum online on other days—combining the best of both.
Subject-Specific Support
We cover curriculum areas you can't feasibly staff in-house—languages, sciences, option subjects—while you deliver core provision and pastoral work.
Overflow Provision
Immediate placements for students on waiting lists, preventing educational gaps while permanent PRU places are arranged.
Medical PRU Hour Extension
Students access additional curriculum time online to supplement your on-site provision and reach the hours they're entitled to.
How We Work Together
Partnership,
Not Replacement
Your PRU remains the lead agency. Your staff are the key workers. We deliver the academic piece while you continue the vital pastoral, therapeutic, and behavior support that vulnerable young people need.
Clear Communication
Regular updates, shared data, joint reviews. We work collaboratively, not separately.
Safeguarding Coordination
Immediate concern reporting, multi-agency meeting attendance, and coordination around safeguarding plans. Your DSL leads; we support.
Flexible Arrangements
No long-term contracts required. We can start with one or two students to test the partnership before expanding.
