Volunteer at Eton Academy

At Eton Academy, we believe volunteers bring something truly special to our school. By sharing their skills, time, and experiences, volunteers enrich our community and help us create a more inspiring and supportive environment for our students.

Our Volunteer Programme is designed to:

  • Encourage the wider community to engage with the school.

  • Enhance the curriculum and raise student achievement.

  • Promote community cohesion and connection.

  • Ensure that volunteers work in line with our vision, values, and safeguarding policies.

  • Provide a clear and supportive process for becoming part of our volunteer team.

What Volunteers Do

Volunteers play a valuable role in school life, and may:

  • Work with individual children or small groups.

  • Support specific curriculum areas, such as ICT, art, or literacy.

  • Deliver workshops in areas of expertise.

  • Enrich learning with real-world knowledge and experiences.

Who Can Volunteer?

We welcome applications from a wide range of people, including:

  • Parents and carers

  • Former pupils

  • Students on work experience

  • Local residents

  • Friends of the school
