About Lower Secondary
Eton Academy's Lower Secondary schooling is for students aged 11 to 14 and is designed to cover Years 7 – 9 of the British National Curriculum (Key Stages 3).
Over three academic years, learners grasp new concepts and skills across many subject areas and are excellently prepared to move up to future education levels.
As a Cambridge International School, Eton Academy uses the curriculums from Cambridge Assessment International Education as well as following the British national curriculum.
Through this partnership, our students receive high-quality British education and become confident, globally-thinking learners.
Upon completion, students will have developed their knowledge and be ready to start their IGCSEs.

All of our teachers are experienced in online schooling and will provide the best online education students can hope for. They are passionate about teaching as well as inspiring students and helping them to achieve.
Learning Management System
Students and their parents will have access to our state of the art Learning Managemnt System where they can find digital resources and access all of the subject guides and school information they need to complete their studies.

Students will be provided with interactive ebooks (via Boost) to support their learning. These books can be personalised with notes, bookmarks, highlights and revision cards.
Pastoral Care
All school years are offered a weekly pastoral care meeting (PHSE) to ensure they are being supported to the best of our abilities.
Report Cards
Report cards are given out at the end of every term and at the end of the academic year, resulting in 4 report cards a year so students and thier parents can keep up to date with their progress.
Extra Curricular Activities
We offer a range of exciting extracurricular opportunities for students to discover interests outside of their lessons. View our extra curricular activities here.
Flexible Schooling Options
Students have the options to enrol as a full time student, an ‘occasional student’ or a 'self study' student.

Assessments
Whilst Lower Secondary contains no formal assessment, students’ progress is tracked and measured throughout the three years.
Learners will be set regular tests and assignments to challenge them and to support their growth.
Students will also have end of term assessments three times a year to evaluate their understanding of the materials taught and to compare their attainment with their targets in each subject.
