About IGCSEs
At Eton Academy, our IGCSE Schooling is an exciting phase crafted for students aged 14 to 16, encompassing the crucial Grades 10 – 11 (Key Stages 4). The IGCSE, or International General Certificate of Secondary Education, serves as a global benchmark, equivalent to the UK's GCSE qualification for 14 to 16-year-olds.
During this dynamic period, students engage with a spectrum of IGCSE subjects, both core and optional, paving the way for multifaceted academic growth. The successful completion of IGCSEs unlocks pathways to progress onto AS Levels and A Levels, providing our students with a solid foundation for higher education.
Join us at Eton Academy, where IGCSE schooling is a transformative journey towards academic excellence and future success.

What is included?
Students at Eton Academy benefit from a range of quality features and resources that are designed to support learners with their education.

Live Online Lessons
All of our classes are taught live through online lessons via zoom. This gives students the chance to engage in their lessons as they would in a traditional school. They can interact with their peers and teachers, ask questions if they need help and answer questions put forward by their teachers.

Expert Teachers
All of our teachers are experienced in online schooling and will provide the best online education students can hope for. They are passionate about teaching as well as inspiring students and helping them to achieve.

Learning Management System
Students and their parents will have access to our state of the art Learning Management System where they can find digital resources and access all of the subject guides and school information they need to complete their studies.

Pastoral Care
All school years are offered a weekly pastoral care meeting (PSHE) to ensure they are being supported to the best of our abilities.

Report Cards
Report cards are given out at the end of every term and at the end of the academic year, resulting in 4 report cards a year so students and their parents can keep up to date with their progress.

Extra Curricular Activities
We offer a range of exciting extracurricular opportunities for students to discover interests outside of their lessons. View our extra curricular activities here.
Examinations
As an online school, we take a different approach when it comes to exams. Instead of having exams as part of our regular school routine, we prepare students thoroughly through our subject lessons. When it's time for exams, students can sit them at an official examination centre near them. Don't worry—we'll guide you through the registration process.
As soon as applications for exams open up, Eton Academy will provide all the necessary information. We're here to assist parents and students in finding the nearest examination centre. Keep in mind that during the exam registration, there'll be a fee payable to the exam board. We've got all the details covered so you can focus on your studies!
